About
Hi there. I guess this is where you put your stats. I’m Elizabeth, I live in Birmingham, AL with my family and crazy cat Mack (short for Father McKenzie of “Eleanor Rigby” fame).
I started hiking when my husband and I started dating, we quickly progressed to backpacking and now we’d never go back. It’s a completely different experience once you get away from crowded campgrounds and popular trails. We’ve been lucky enough to hike in the Smokies and in the Anza-Borrego Desert, but most of our hiking has been on the Pinhoti Trail in Alabama.
I started knitting in January 06 and quickly became addicted. I’m not monogamous when it comes to working on projects. Some might say I get bored easily, but I see it as an overwhelming desire to try new patterns, new techniques, new yarn, ah, new needles, um, new ideas, new…uh…well…you get the picture. I dream of owning a yarn shop and rolling around naked in mountains of yarn sharing my love of the Knit with all who enter!
I’m a vegetarian, I love to knit, read, cook, garden and I hate housework.
If you’d like to contact me, you can do so by emailing elizabeth {at} trailingyarn {dot} com.
Thanks for visiting my blog!
